Get into Grains

Get into Grains aligns with Levels 5-6 of the Biological component of the Victorian F-10 curriculum.

Get into Grains has students explore the importance of preserving the diversity of crop plants. In this workshop students will:

· undertake a tour of the grain storage facility at the Australian Grains Genebank

· investigate crop seed adaptations

· investigate scientific methods of classification

· investigate how different grains relate to commonplace foods.
